Celtic Tri have access to some great training facility across Swansea and Neath areas.

Swim
Our swimming pool sessions take place at Morriston LC, Swansea; Neath Pool;  Pontardawe Pool and Ystradgynlais LC.
We also offer Open Water swimming activities at a private lake that club members have use of.
There are lost of opportunities to meet up in groups too for open water swimming at other public venues such as Llanelli North Dock and Mumbles.

Bike
Cycling opportunities have been improved this year and we have exclusive use of a closed road facility for our juniors and adults to train at. This traffic free venue provide the club with a 350m circuit for skills development and the 750m circuit is suitable for Crit races and mini Duathlon events.
We also have two monthly TT events in Swansea & Neath, and regular club rides for all abilities of rider with various distances depending on what you are training for.

Run
Running track sessions take place at Cwrt Herbert running track in Neath for juniors and adults, and we have an adult running group based in Swansea that trains weekly. Again members meet up outside of these coached sessions and there are a few groups that run trails, coast, mountains and local Parkruns.

Virtual Sessions
Since COVID the club has embraced virtual training and have been providing members with turbo and Zwift training sessions, Strength and Conditionings sessions and inviting in local professionals to offer members  talks on nutrition, wellbeing and other fitness related activities.


We have recently affiliated to Welsh Cycling and this has given our junior and adult members extra opportunities to race or train during the winter with the Cyclo-Cross league.
We will be offering GO Ride opportunities for young people from the local communities to take part in a safe and structured cycling sessions later in the year.

 

All sessions are delivered by qualified British Triathlon coaches and follow BTF guidelines so you know you are in safe hands.
