2024 club championships
The following races have been selected to give first timers and athletes that are more experienced a chance to compete in the club championships and take part in the Welsh Triathlon Super Series by racing in the same races
Same rules as for 2023. It’s the best four results from seven races that will count to the club championship and for the youth/juniors it will be the best 3 results from 5 races.
Race 1 – 7th April – Amman Valley Sprint Triathlon Age14+
Race 2 – 12th May – Llanelli Sprint Triathlon Age14+ (stage 1 of Welsh Super Series)
Race 3 – 26th May – SWYD Barry Sprint Triathlon Age 14+ (stage 2 of Welsh Super Series)
Race 4 – 2nd June – Cotswolds 113 Middle Distance
Race 5 – 30th June – Cardiff Standard Triathlon (stage 3 of Welsh Super Series)
Race 6 – Bluestone Pembrokeshire Coast Triathlon, Broadhaven – Standard Distance (stage 4 of Welsh Super Series)
Race 7 – Sept (date tbc) – Neath Valley Sprint Triathlon Age 14+
Juniors only.
For the 2024 season, we’ve added Junior Long Course Weekend for juniors only. Distances will be the 1.2 mile swim / 45 mile bike / 10km run
Race 5 – 21st – 23rd June – Junior LCW
Adults will be best 4 results from 7 races.
Juniors will be best 3 results from 5 races.
New for 2024
We’ve been asked about points for being part of a relay team.
We don’t have enough relay teams to be able to make it part of the championship, but you’ll be able to carry points from a relay race to your individual points. Need to work out a couple of things and will have this confirmed soon.
