I want to extend a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all Celtic Tri members and their families. It’s been an amazing year of growth in club, with membership numbers rising, success in races both at junior and senior levels, development of the club coaches and a very busy year for our volunteers and parents who’ve helped out with our three Go-Tri events, the Steve Lewis Junior Aquathon, Swansea Junior Triathlon and the Neath Valley Triathlon.

The committee – thank you for the support of my first year in the post of Chair and I’m looking forward to the next year with some new faces possible joining us and more about that in the January newsletter.

The Coaches – thank you all very much for the time you give to the club in providing sessions week in week out and in all weathers, your energy and passion for triathlon and the club does not go unnoticed. Without the dedication of the coaches we wouldn’t be able to provide the club with swim, bike, run and other training sessions that we put on each week for the membership. Their experience, knowledge and commitment to the sport and club is first class and long may they continue to grow as coaches and provide you with the quality sessions you all love.

The Junior section – what can I say you are all amazing. You’ve had an amazing season travelling around Wales and taking part in this fantastic sport and with the work the coaches are putting in, 2019 is looking very good for you all. Big thank you to all the Junior Coaches and have a well-deserved rest over Christmas break and all the Parents, thank you too for supporting Celtic Tri and volunteering throughout the year.

And finally thank you to all our supporters and sponsors who provide services to our membership.

The club continues its success because of all your support, I’m already looking forward to next year!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Mark – Celtic Tri Chair

Merry Christmas and a very happy new year to all our committee, coaches, members, parents, friends, volunteers and supporters of Celtic Tri.
